Department : Service
Reports to : Service Manager or Service Location Manager
Position : General help around the shop including cleaning and maintenance, light mechanical duties, and wash bay duties. This is an entry-level seasonal position with the potential for growth.
Employee may be assigned some or all of the following duties :
- Facility cleaning and maintenance
- Sharpen blades and saw chain
- Help with daily cleaning and trash removal
- Wash vehicles and equipment
- Moving equipment and maintaining attractive displays
- Loading and unloading customer equipment
- Loading and unloading freight deliveries
- Helping technicians as required
- Other duties, according to ability, as requested by the service writers or service manager
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge :
- Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used for assigned activities
- Drive to take on new and unfamiliar duties
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Fork lift license a plus
